A glorious, glorious weekend for the dykes of Berlin and those who sail with us. A very succinct set of Party Dyke weekend recommendations: Da party dykes be at Kater for 4Q4. Da non-party dykes are at dyke-fest. Do both. Do more. You contain multitudes.
Friday 29.
Slime: Golden Trash
Mystery Location Mitte
The sweetest of wee queer DIY parties is back this Friday in our cosy Neukölln haven with a very special drag edition. Starting a little earlier than usual (these babes need to save a little bit of energy for 4Q4), they open the stage for any drag kings, queens, things, and creatures of the night that want to make a grand, golden, and trashy debut; hosted by special guest Ken Pollet and Slime's ever-delightful host Raki Solale.
Girls Town
MAAYA
It's a big lesbian pool party. There's poppy bops. There's drinky drinks. There's 30% of the Princess Charming cast holding court on the deck chairs. There's a grand lesbian milieu. If only just one of them would make a move...
Saturday 30.
4Q4 Error Festival
Kater
A party dyke's dream come true. All of the good folks putting on the little parties that matter most for our community, coming together to make something big, loud, and fucking beautiful. 37 hours of music and sheer queer joy.
To be painfully earnest: I am so happy to have been able to play my small part in making this happen, and so grateful for all of the wonderful people who I have seen put in real labor to create a non-commercial, FLINTA* focused, queer festival. It's the first time we do it, and things won't always run perfectly, but god-damn this is exciting. It's a small revolution and, just maybe, the start of something really big. See you there, folks.
Dyke* Fest 2025
Festsaal Kreuzberg
Not exactly nightlife but I would be remiss to omit the Dyke Festival. The Allesbien squad is levelling the fuck up this year. They have a full program running noon to dusk, Saturday to Sunday — workshops, drag, DJs, merch, burlesque, rampant dykery for two whole days. Perhaps the only event I recommend in two years that is kid-friendly too (that speaks volumes, can't stand the creatures). The amount of work and love going into this, you'll feel it at the door. Community at its best.
*And getting yourself to one of these weekend dyke extravaganzas will get you into the other on a discount — so if you don't do both you're losing money. Partydyke math.
