Friday 17.
WHOLE Festival
Ferropolis
The queer exodus begins. The party gays are evacuating en masse, following some of this city's finest collectives, artists, and performers to the open-cast mine turned playground of Ferropolis (the children yearn for the mines).
Will the crowd be mostly cis-gay men? Yes. Will the fashion twinks and muscle gays be on their worst behaviour? Absolutely.
But if you've never seen a queer city pop up and come to life like this, you're missing a revelationary experience as well as the best weekender of your life.
Pro tip: dykes love crane stage.
Plus there's workshops, talks and performances for the cultured queers. So nab last-minute tix and come pitch up camp with some chosen fam. Make sure you have at least one outdoorsy lesbian in the crew to construct a basecamp the Army would envy, bring bug spray, and try to find good neighbors. Nothing has ruined my beauty sleep like the falsetto of a twink breaking up with his boyfriend at 7 am.

Taranau, our juicy techno party for femmes and thems is back at it with some stellar guests taking the decks — Gato Pardo, Berfu, Azdra, Part-Time Lesbian, all joining Taranau resident Eira on decks.
