What a goddamn weekend. We kick off Berlin Pride Month hard, girlypop. Sleep is for the straights.
Friday 4.
Cuddles
ÆDEN
Over at Æden we've got a queer party that's been killing it on music, vibes, crowd; the whole shebang. And I don't expect this to be any exception folks. DJ AYA brings out the dykes, Aaron Blau & puppy have never failed me, and god-damn they've even got acidheaven in. What a night folks.
HIGH Fidelity
Mystery Location
Looking for a night that's DIY, kinda punk, down to earth; just good folks and good music of the harder techno persuasion? This would be the perfect little night for you, my friend. The line-up is gorgeous: Amperia, Madalba, Hypnotist... All the queer soul needs.
Saturday 5.
Trannies Against Landlords
Projektraum H48
It's a big ol' house party hosted by your finest local transexuals, if that's not the time of your life, you're a lost cause my dude. There will be drag, there will be music, there will be a large amount of Sterni at very affordable prices, and all for the jolly good cause of helping local queers fight eviction. Community baby.
SLIMECORE
Mystery Location
Slime time is back my loves: the cutest wee queer party that's all about community. With a DIY setup, the kind of little dance floor where you can get to know every soul, and the ever-excellent Raki Solale playing host; you can't beat it.
Quatsch: Business meeting edition
Zur Klappe
God I love a theme party—it's not business casual, it's business slutty. Your cutesy bootsy Quatsch crew is bringing you a night of networking like you've never seen before. In the cosy former cruising toilet-come-coworking space of Zur Klappe, it's going be groovy, housey, poppy, boppy, sultry... HR is going to have a heart attack.
Sunday 6th
Tipsy Disco
OST
Tipsy hosts a proper Sunday boogey out at OST. The P'Berg gays migrate down for a day of DJs, drag, and that hazey, euphoric summer day-party vibe. Catch yourself some Daniel Wang and Dj handbag. I don't expect it will be a particularly dykely crowd, but it should be a sweet way to kick off pride month if you're craving some big community feels.
Glazed Festival
Turbulence TXL
A brand new queer day-festival at the ol' Tegel Airport, brought to you from the good folks of BRENN and HOMODROP. If you want a bit of groove, a bit of disco, some housey goodness—this might be quite the day out for you babe. Browse a wee market, attend some workshops, give a new queer gig some support. Pending a PD review of course, let me know how it goes.
