After the May-Day-week-long blow-out one would think there would be rest for the party dykes of this city. But alas, the vibes persist. And so must we. Sleep is for the straights.

Friday 9.

LE TEMPLE OBSCURA

Æden

Geneva-born queer collective Le Temple is coming to Æden this Friday for another grand ball of techno, ballroom, and art. On the main floor you're getting techno/rave brought by some new and familiar faces: wouldn't miss Nanzhen Yang and Elen Payne if I were you. Meanwhile there's a genre blend on the Paradise Floor; featuring SWEAT daddies James Lotion and Sparkly Pony. Check out the exhibition corner to experience some high culture alongside your low. Last but not least—for the broke folks out there you can get yourself free entry tix on RA, but only for entry between 22:00 and 23:00.

Saturday 10.

FROG x BLVSH x Others To The Front

M01

Three FLINTA* and queer collectives in one place for one ball of a night. Frog is bringing together BLVSH and Others to the Front to present you an all-FLINTA* BIPOC lineup playing you that delicious acidy, proggy sound all not like long. Cute folks, DIY vibes, proper community feel— don't miss out my loves.

Pinky Promise: Candy Wonderland

OST

The sweetest of this week's selection: the costume theme for this Pinky Promise is Candy Wonderland—so think Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory but like, sexy. They're bringing you two dance floors, a selection of cabaret and shibari shows, workshops, play spaces (including a designated FLINTA* space, and more. Remember, costume is important. Sugar plum it up like 2010 Katy Perry (when she was only passively annoying). Door policy is strict: no effort, no entry.

Sunday 11th

Slime: Queer Joy Edition

Mystery Location

Cute community hang with a market, performances, DJs, and an art market featuring some of our of favorite talented locals. It's punk, it's cute, it's all about the community folks. If you're looking for somewhere to hang, have a dance, peruse some arts and funky wares, grab a few drinks and chill with cute queers this Sunday, I couldn't recommend it enough.

Buttons OPEN AIR

OXI

Open air season is upon us my loves and this is the great big feral queer rave that could get your hot gay summer rolling. Buttons is selling 9 years of queer chaosity with a lineup that has me swooning like a Victorian lady from start to finish: Jacob Meehan, CORA, Dj handbag, DJ NORTHERN, Kiddy Smile, and Dirty Daddy Don is playing a marathon set. Frickin' glorious. Must include my obligatory warning that the crowd tends to be mostly cis-gay guys. But fuck the music will be fire.
