Ah German Unity Day, a day off work where you endure the unwelcome reminder that because you moved to Berlin to be a flaming homosexual, you do have to endure the German state. Luckily you have Tag der Clubkultur; an institution that is responsible for better boogies and less war crime.
Thursday 3.
Bottomless Brunch
ÆVE
What better way to celebrate the Day of German Unity than through one of this country's few positive cultural contributions: FKK. That's hanging out naked for my fellow Auslanders. Enjoy some top-tier acid and trance music at this city's first ever naked sapphic daytime rave. Don't be shy. *Also take a moment to appreciate that poster. Juice cleanse indeed.
QUEER AGENDA by BRENN. INSTANT
Mena
The Instant Collective x brenn.worldwide x tagderclubkultur is bringing you something very special over at Mena. A day filled with food, art, music, performance, workshops; they got it all. And on top of that you can enjoy some rich 90s house music running into the night. Entry is free though donations are welcome.
Friday 4.
QUEER SOLI PARTY - EMERGENCE W/ SC*M & QCC
Secret Location (telegram bro)
Slightly Conscious Monkeys are back and boy have we missed them. And this time they're joined by the Oslo-based QCC - Queer Community Club for a night of high-energy music, perfomances, and queer community. On decks we have Broedskive, Ina Vietha, Cat b2b Broccoli and Kiar Oscuro. Can't recommend this one highly enough, and they're raising funds in aid of the European Legal Support Center ELSC to provide legal support to advocates for Palestinian rights in Europe. Good folks. Good cause. Good vibes.
3 Jahre Dykes* Gone Wild!
Schwuz
Schwuz is throwing one of its much awaited nights for the dykes. Not just a bar night but a whole night for FLINTA* folks. Once again you've got a pop floor, you've a house floor, and you've got a spicey cinemathic experience projected against a wall that someone should have warned me about before I did a full on spit take.
LAYERS graduate party edt. 2
Fitzroy
Local FLINTA* collective Layers are debuting the graduates from their intensive DJ workshop course this Friday night at Fitzroy. Come enjoy some fast and groovy sounds from new and rising talents.
Gegen X Buttons - Chains
RSO
If you're looking for a big blow-out party this Saturday night, RSO is the place to be. This is where to go if you fancy dancing like the world is about to end. All star DJ lineup, including folks like Elli Acula, Flavia Laus, Jacob Meehan and Skankstasy. I'm fangirling. Crowd tends to be a bit dominated by the cis-gay boys but there is a FLINTA* darkroom so do with that information what you will. Don't forget the dresscode is kinky and you're encouraged to embrace the chain theme.
Saturday 5.
FACILITATE
Zur Klappe
Our one and only FLINTA* drum and bass party returns from Summer hiatus to once again fill our Mehringdamm cubby hole with fast beats and cute folks. This time FACILITATE founders DJ NORTHERN and DJ Flounce are join by SoyKlō and Leipzig's DJ Badshape. DnB does not get the love it deserves in Berlin, so come find something a little different in a cute, cosy, femme to the front space.
Apéro Club XL Vol.2 - Pillow Princess X What A Playground
Crack Bellmer
From the early hours of the evening to the edge of dawn, the folks of Pillow Princess and What A Playground are coming together for 12 hours of good music and better company. We got some top-tier dykes on deck to keep you going from your evening Spritz to your questionable 3am vodka shot. They will also be raising funds for @kop_berlin, who support and advocate for victims of police discrimination and violence.
Sunday 6.
