We've got something for whatever boats your float. It's one long weekend, but the road to hell wasn't paved in a day.
Thursday 11.
Weeeirdos
SÄULE
We're warming up for the weekend with a big night for techno-lovers at Berghain's Säule. Weeeirdos is all about platforming some of the best queer artists on the circuit and they bring in a really sweet crowd to boot. The lineup is fire (it always is): Ariel Zetina, Clara Cuvé, LOLSNAKE and SITA. It shall slap.
Friday 12.
DYNAMIC
OXI
A big bad night of queer-feminist hardrave. DYNAMIC takes over OXI for a long night of breaky, bassy sounds, hardtech noise, with a firm kick of gabber and industrial, and some dreamy trance. With folks like Gretchen Bazooka, V, and RAKITA on the ticket, you can expect a high-energy party so come caffeinated, you'll want to make this a long night.
Saturday 13.
Body Language - Charity Edition
Zenner
Coming as a big relief for those who've been missing Body Language since Re:mise closed its doors (RIP queen), we've got a night with the BL residents — all stars of the queer party scene, not to mention a performance by the world-renowned drag artist Hungry. And if that's not enough they'll be donating 5€ per entry to the GLADT e.V and local mutual aid. Good folks, good cause, good music, good vibes.
BLVSH x EVOLVE
M01
The BLVSH crew is teaming up with Madrid collective Evolve for a night of trance, psy and techno from an all FLINTA* lineup. Personally, I am very excited to catch VINVAR in action again. BLVSH always brings in a sweet crowd so I predict a cosy, cute vibe at M01.
2 YEARS HYPERSOFT
OXI
The marathon of the weekend: for 22 hours the Hypersoft collective is lighting up OXI for their second anniversary. It's a queer-centred party with a fairly mixed crowd but bombshell music. If you're feeling like it's time for your first proper garden boogie of the year this is the one. Part of the funds go towards supporting queer and FLINTA+ causes, so it might look like you're going on a day-long bender but you're actually, a philanthropist.
ADIRA: Eid Edition
Panke
A nostlagic night for queer Arabs and allies, bringing you the best arabic-pop of the 80’s, 90’s and nullies. Seems like a sweet little community-based party and there's soli-price tickets available for those who need it (send them an email by Friday). Eid Mubarak.
Sunday 14.
RAVE Kundgebung/RAVE Rally: SAVE TUNTENHAUS
Kastanienallee 86
Alright folks, it's time for a little Solidarität. The Tuntenhaus is under threat and you know how you can help (apart from signing a petition and donating)? Go out and boogie at their rave-demo starting from noon Sunday. Queer spaces in this city tend to be ephemeral. But the Tuntenhaus is a piece of queer history we can't afford to lose. On the most gentrified street in the most gentrified district of this city, the housing project is a symbol of resistance, a rough-brickwork symbol of the resilience of queer Berlin. Let's rally folks. Time to fight the good fight.
