Party Dyke's Reluctant NYE Reccomendations Full disclosure folks, New Years is the one time of year I won't peer-pressure you into going fully feral on the town. TL;DR: There are no particularly FLINTA-focused parties. What you get when you go clubbing on NYE — twice the price, half the quality, seven times the number of straight people who've lost their god-damn minds or k4tamined too close to the sun. Go where you have friends and community. Pop the cheapest sekko you can find. Instead of clubbing on NYE — go to OYA Bar for their party and support the space, or if you can find yourself a ticket for An Evening with the Dames Sylvester celebration at Volksbühne, be there. If you want to dance, go on New Year's day because there are still amazing artists playing and the club-demons who make NYE a living hell have gone home to throw up already. If you're going out on New Year's day or if you're ready to face the firework warzone fomented by the teenage gremlins of your Kiez and face the populace of Berlin in their most unhinged state, you'll find some damn fucking good music here.
