Where's this weekend's boogie to be found? Here are some good long nights for the hard-working dyke. You deserve it. Party Dyke loves you.
Friday 5.
WET Vienna x Dykes Gone Wild
Schwuz
This edition of Dykes Gone Wild is much more than the usual Pepsi-Boston bar night, this is an all-night party for the dykes. With one floor taken over by residents of the WET FLINTA* party collective: DJ Kuendigung and Nina Berg for some techno-, break- and electrobeats, alongside the Schwuz's classic poppy stuff (just in case you haven't heard Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' in a minute.) I'm hoping for a bit of Robyn and Gaga to flail dramatically to. Of course, there will also be drag and burlesque performances (alongside the entertainment of the inevitable drama that unfolds when you get half the dykes in Berlin in a venue where shots are practically a rite of passage).,
DUMP
Zur Klappe
A cozy night with one of our cutest queer party collectives. A truly fantastic lineup here: we've got DUMP crew ābnamā and Dirty Daddy Don, (for whom I am a notorious fangirl) alongside exciting guests and Diamin and lealucifer. I predict some seriously upbeat, groovy, ravey, acidic techno and breaks, to be enjoyed with queer and sweet little crowd. Klappe can be a tight venue, so be mindful and caring towards others if the space gets tight. It always makes a big difference, and I have faith in the DUMP crowd.
Saturday 6.
Brenn
Fitzroy
A night of the finest 90s house music from a phenomenally funky queer/trans-led collective, and the lineup of the night is absolute fire. Babxi, Bézier, FLEMISH FETISH, and Sparkly Pony are angels. The venue is on the smaller side, so expect a more intimate party (and consider getting there early in case it fills up). Really excited for this one, be ready to catch that pretty sunrise over the Spree.
CHAOSMOSIS
90mil
The first edition of CHAOSMOSIS brings you a creatively chaotic night with some great local artists of experimental pop and hyperpop, with performances by SARILOU, Vega vi, LAFFYYY and Terikon DJing the afterparty. There'll be food (including French crepes omg) and the funds will go towards aid for Palestinian refugees. Good cause, good folks, good times.
