Well I hope you've had a restful weekend because the next week is a bloody marathon. No rest. No sleep. Just drinks and drag and dykes from Tuesday onwards. @tristezakiezkneipe @iftn65 @monsterronsons @bleach.babychino @queerbedroompop @tipsy_bear_berlin @queergirlsnight @b_lage_nk @queer_feminist_bar_night @stueck_36 @blanq_slate_ @jessica.jiamei @str1pitoff @lolitavavoom @stueck_36 @stueckpopup
- Party Picks: May Marathon 8 - 12
This is your dry run for festival season folks; endurance training. The weekend starts on Wednesday. It ends when you run out of money, dr**s, or knee cartilage. This a good-vibes, high-energy marathon. Wednesday 8th Thursday 9th Friday 10th Saturday 11th Sunday 12th Wednesday 8. Poppers Party Monster Ronson's A night of alkyl nitrite delight brought to you by our queen Bleach. Poppers is the chaotic drag shows of dreams; the kind of sheer queer beautiful bedlam lighting up my dykey dreams. Starting the night with a pangeant of our newest, freshest drag perfomers: Angel Danger, Günther Geil, Earl Gay & Shy. Then darling Chandelier Brown, Oma-drag star No Undies and show-girl Daniela Candela take the stage. I will not rest until every dyke in Berlin has had a POPPERS night at MonRon. Vive la révolution homosexuelle, Bleach, vive la révolution homosexuelle. BLADE x HOMEOSTAT M01 Local queer collective Homeostat are teaming up with the good folks who bring you Blade Festival (queer-friendly, feminist festival outside Leipzig). Wednesday night they present two floors; one blasting the finest trance and techno, the other; the smoothest house, groove and techno. Pending a Party Dyke review but I sense a vibe. Thursday 9. H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶ LOL - Queer Beach Party Strandbad Plötzensee Ah Herrentag, the day when the worst men you know come together to celebrate toxic masculinity. What better day to party in the sun with the girls, gays and theys? Head over to Strandbad Plötzensee for a day to celebrate FLINTA*/queer DJs and performers. This year they're supporting the Tuntenhaus in their legal fight to preserve a historic, queer, self-organized space. There shall be music, dancing, food, drink, and most importantly, you can avoid dude-bros at peak-douchebag. Friday 10. Subverted x OLAM OHM The hot goth queers are turning out at OHM this Friday night, joined by bratislavan collective OLAM, bringing you the finest industrial techno, dark ambient, rhythmic noise, industrial, hard tech and all those other big, fun, bangy noises. The crowd at Subverted is always so damn sweet, behind a truly excessive amount of eyeliner. This party will be to blame for my tinnitus and it's going to be so worth it. SKIN CONTACT II Kreuzwerk A dark-queer party in a brand new venue. Embrace some gender-fuckery, awake your binary-defiant clown and dance like a weirdo. That's the energy we're striving for. Now I can't tell you anything about Kreuzwerk as a venue just yet, and I a curious to see how it will work for the party, but if this is anything like volume one of SKIN CONTACT it'll be a vibe and a half. HISSY FIT *goes to Berlin once* Zur Klappe Zur Klappe is throwing another Hissy Fit, a queer/femme party with the kind of playful, bouncy energy you need after a long week. Pro-tip, I'd turn out for SXCL, for the love of the music (and my crush on them). The theme of the night; it's all about Berlin. Channel your inner currywurst, your inner Berghain reject dressed like a matrix character or that pre-war model of old German lady who fully shoulder-checks you on the U-Bahn. Paradise Garage OXI Paradise Garage is back after a wee sabbatical. And I am excited folks. PG at its best was the grooviest, sexiest, silliest Thursday night in Berlin. Always brought in a queer crowd (after all, Paradise Garage discotheque is a big deal in the history of NY queer club culture), let me tell you: the music; the vibes; the shenanigans, fucking beautiful. Where else can I wear a silly little sailor costume, dance to disco classics and Improvise silly little skits under the instruction of someone in a skimpy nurse costume. If the new rendition captures half that magic, I'm all on-board. Dresscode is strictly extravagant, kinky and colourful. Saturday 11. Pillow Princess Klubnacht Zur Klappe Boy, oh boy; the very first Prinzessinnen Klubnacht. We've been waiting for this one. Cute queer vibes by cute queer folks. On decks, we've got Cat and Broccoli of course, joined by Sparkly Pony (of Sweat fame), B.Silberof the and, all the way from Paris, Hardmullet (renowned of Dyketopia fest). Expect a high energy dance floor, just be mindful of others because Klappe is a little bit tight on space. Cuties x Fairies Secret Location A queer DIY party to bring together "the fags, dykes, dolls and daddies". This one brings in the sweetest folks, and our clandestine little Neukölln cubby hole is a prime spot for a whole-heartedly queer happening. Not many parties leave you smiling on the way home like these Cuties. Pinky Promise: Marvellous Masquerade OST It's a sexy masquerade ball. What more do I have to say. Pinky Promise is a wonderland that brings in some of Berlin's finest, queerest performers, who will be putting on the most sultry of showings. On two dancefloors you can find a wide range of genre: Afro House, Techno, Baile Funk, Disco... what more can you ask? They have active awareness team and strict playroom rules you should consider perusing beforehand. And of course: dress for the occasion. No effort - no entry. Dis/tanz Raxxxhaus - Bethaniendamm 28 Here we go, your queer soli party for post-punky, synthy goth vibes, raising money for causes close to the community's heart. With an array of local favorites on decks, it should be a warm little party with some good boogies to be had. Come play. Come dance, FLINTA to the front. Sunday 12. Slinky # 1 Zur Klappe A brand new party to round off the weekend with some low-BPM grooves (probably for the best for those of us who will have been on a bender since Wednesday). Let's give it a swing, I have a good feeling about this one. The lineup is kept a mystery until the day. Intriguing. Party Dyke investigates.
- Weekend Picks: May 3 - 5
Chill vibes weekend on the FLINTA* scene, but you can still find a good boogie. Rally your troops; gather your gaggle of gays, and hit the town. Hot gay summer awaits. Friday 3rd Saturday 4th Friday 3. Femme Bass Mafia x Outlook Origins Fitzroy The Femme Bass Mafia are a cute wee FLINTA* crew focused on bass music, and this Friday they're teaming up with @outlookorigins for a night of heavy melters. Strong recommend for Marie Midori and Dangermami. Saturday 4. We Are Sexworkers Rotes Rathaus There's nothing like a dance demo, and this one's an important one. Sex workers have always formed an integral part of the queer community and been drivers of change in the fight for liberation. Don’t let anyone forget it. This is an important demo. And, I bet, a great party. Celebrate sex workers. Support sex workers. Stand up for sex workers. Pillow Princess: Apéro Club Crack Bellmer Pillow Princess is bringing a cute little Summer evening of vinyl-only grooves from a FLINTA* & friends line-up. Spice it up! by Velvet Kitchen DAS Institut The Velvet Kitchen, a DJ collective of queer and FLINTA+ artists is cooking up a night of progressive and acid house music. Pending a Party Dyke review but I have high hopes. State of Emergency x Pillow Princess Privatclub A busy day for the Prinzessin; after the Apéro they're heading over to the cosy little Privatclub to team up with local techno collective SOE.
- Party Dyke Walpurgisnacht/May Day Spectacular
Party dykes of the world unite. You have nothing to lose but your chains, your wallet, your coat-check ticket, and your dignity. Walpurgisnacht April 30th Tag der Arbeit May 1st Walpurgisnacht April 30. Take Back the Night Boxhagener Platz In a year of many protests, this is one that can give you a bit of hope. FLINTA* folks fill the streets in a call for an end to all patriarchal violence; both direct and systematic. Given the recent attacks on our community, there's all the more reason to go out and take back the night. tanz in den mai OYA Once you're finished taking to the streets, head over to OYA for a night of hip-hop, afrobeat and funk. Deck out for the costume theme: queer mystical fairytale, and get ready to dance. Entrance on donation basis, and OYA has recently been the target of a costly robbery so it's a good time to get out and support. Mondo Klit Rock Club Roadrunners Club The Mondo Klit Rock Club is back: An old-school dyke party bringing you club classics, house and electro. May Day Fun Raiser Mystery Location NK For a long Walpurgisnacht on your feet, come celebrate with some of favorite local queer collectives and DJs (shout out to SLIME & Interzone). Cumunism Tipsy Bear A wild and chaotic political drag show, hosted by our beloved Bleach, bringing you the revolution; the sexual revolution; and, indeed, the homosexual revolution. If you can't make this show, see Poppers at Monster Ronson's on the 8th of May. Anarcha Soki Walpurigis Night Near Bethaniendamm (email for info) A witchy night of costumes, music, drinks, food, soli-shots and singstar. For location email contact: a_cafe_berlin@riseup.net and come dressed witchy for a special treat. Tag der Arbeit May 1. Dissident & Intersectional 1st of May: Coven, Fogo No Cu, Fiestuki and Others to the Front Location via Telegram A team of stellar queer/FLINTA* collectives coming together to give you the open air May First boogie of dreams. Alongside local favorites Coven and Fogo No Cu, we've got collectives Others to the Front from Madrid and Fiestuki from Mexico, bringing some groovy, housey music with a latinx spin. The event is free but don't forget to drop a little donation to cover organising costs. What a Playground Stück If you didn't manage to catch the street party at the Stück this Sunday, never fear, you haven't missed all of the fun. The good folks from What a Playground are bringing the finest house grooves to Stück this May Day. Pillow Princess takeover La Vineria The Prizessin are hosting a little cosy, queer and groovy get-together over at La Vineria, alongside Sweat collective star Sparkly Pony. Should be an absolute delight. Siblinx Tipsy Last but not least, if you are looking for a wholesome, FLINTA* focused night to celebrate the first of May, the siblinx open mic at Tipsy Bear is the place for you
- Weekend Picks: April 26 - 28
At last, lesbian visibility day, when I shall emerge from the darkness to wreak vengeance upon the living embodiment of patriarchy—straight cis-dudes who wear polo shirts to clubs—before disappearing once again into the night; a shadow unseen, unheard, the homosexual hero this city needs. Friday 26th Saturday 27th Sunday 28th Friday 26. Fuck Your Gender Lark The Nipple Liberation Army is back with another round of Fuck Your Gender; an absolutely first-class FLINTA*-focused, sex-positive party. Always a beautiful night of community, care, and queer joy. While the Untertage venue will be missed, the Nip Lib Army is sure to make it a night to remember regardless. Free your body. Free your mind. Free your nips. Queer Garten: Lesbian Visibility Day Party Gretchen A grand ol' way to celebrate this fine day of International Lesbian Visibility with the Queer Garten FLINTA* collective. They're teaming up with the Butch Walk, Butch Barflys and Dyke March folks to bring you a night of music, entertainment and general dykery. Usually a good range of music at Queer Garten parties, with a bit of pop, a touch of techno, and a hint of house. Interzone Secret Location The finest queer anticapitalist party in Berlin is up and at it again. For the real techno dykes, this is the place to be because the lineup: absolute fire—SXCL, Control Delete, cristian zanotti— these folks never let me down. Puticlub Æden For a long night of reggaeton, baile funk, guaracha, and queer Latinx joy, the Puticlub crew and their guests are heating up the halls of Æden. FURIOSA: Karol G EDITION Lido For a night of latinx pop, reggaeton and all the bops you could ever want, the Furiosa latinx party is back with a night in ode to Reggaeton queen Karol G. Saturday 27. Alas, there's not much queer in the happening this Saturday. That being said: if you fancy some good disco/house, you could rally your girls, gays, and theys for TOYS takeover of one floor of Paloma; they're a pretty queer-feminist crew and the music will be great, just don't expect a very queer crowd. Otherwise, head to Bergi I guess. Sunday 28. Cuddles OXI A cuddly day party at OXI to keep you going into the small hours of Monday morning. I predict some real beautiful techno, house, some trance, and breaks to boot. They've got a dream DJ lineup, and personally, I'm hyped to catch DJ AYA again. Dress colorful, dress queer, dress to express. This one's still pending a Party Dyke review, but I have high hopes for this one my dears. IN A MOOD GIRI A flock of FLINTAs has something new a'brewing for this Sunday. And it's a full program; you can brunch, boogie, get a tattoo or a tarot reading, or just wail away with some karaoke. I predict a real cute and cozy little community party, with sweet folks and great music.

What a lovely weekend. Perfect to celebrate the Party-Dyke-iversary*. Yup, I've been doing this nonsense for a year. Cheers to me, and to all the other party dykes, queers, weirdos, and ravers that have made this year so damn joyful. All my love - Party Dyke. Friday 19th Saturday 20th Friday 19. Subverted. Label Night Secret Location (Check Telegram) Where the goth gays at? This Friday night they're out for a night of dark industrial techno. This one's worth being excited for. Subverted always brings out the sweetest, if slightly scary-looking folks. For a sex-positive, grimdark-artsy night there's nowhere better in town. Saturday 20. FACILITATE Zur Klappe If you're looking for a space for FLINTA* folks in the DnB scene, FACILITATE has you covered. And the lineup is one to die for: DJ NORTHERN, DJ Flounce, Sarah Farina, and Dangermami: fire, absolute fire. Find them in the cozy corridor of Zur Klappe this Saturday night. Gash Collective presents Elaine Howley (live), Vani-T, ELLLL, Lolz OHM We've got some visitors from the Emerald Isle: Gash are an Irish collective supporting FLINTA* folks in electronic music, and for one night only you'll catch them at OHM. Come for some extravagant bass, experimental, and electro, stay for the craic. (Craic=fun/banter. Don't get any funny ideas.) XTROB: Revelation Resurgence Secret Location Last but not least we have a hedonistic queer techno party from the XTROB. It's giving sexy goth vibes with some killer techno of the harder variety. This one isn't for the faint of heart. It's for the queer techno gremlins who don't mind emerging from their cave to the harsh light of day looking disheveled and tubercular after 10 hours of tearing it up. *okay technically the one-year anniversary was last Sunday. But someone may have gone a little hard the three days before and spent all of Sunday in bed. Oops.
- Party Dyke Bar Nights: Week April 15-21
A fine week of dykery awaits. Drinks and drag: Ruckus and revelry: Sleep is for the straights. @grrrlnoisy @pepsibostonbarberlin @siamo_tutt3_antifascist3 @pepsibostonbarberlin @schwuz @silverfuture_bar @blvsh.berlin @crackbellmer @unicornsintech @stueck_36 @tipsy_bear_berlin @konig_dragshow

We've got something for whatever boats your float. It's one long weekend, but the road to hell wasn't paved in a day. Thursday 11th Friday 12th Saturday 13th Sunday 14 Thursday 11. Weeeirdos SÄULE We're warming up for the weekend with a big night for techno-lovers at Berghain's Säule. Weeeirdos is all about platforming some of the best queer artists on the circuit and they bring in a really sweet crowd to boot. The lineup is fire (it always is): Ariel Zetina, Clara Cuvé, LOLSNAKE and SITA. It shall slap. Friday 12. DYNAMIC OXI A big bad night of queer-feminist hardrave. DYNAMIC takes over OXI for a long night of breaky, bassy sounds, hardtech noise, with a firm kick of gabber and industrial, and some dreamy trance. With folks like Gretchen Bazooka, V, and RAKITA on the ticket, you can expect a high-energy party so come caffeinated, you'll want to make this a long night. Saturday 13. Body Language - Charity Edition Zenner Coming as a big relief for those who've been missing Body Language since Re:mise closed its doors (RIP queen), we've got a night with the BL residents — all stars of the queer party scene, not to mention a performance by the world-renowned drag artist Hungry. And if that's not enough they'll be donating 5€ per entry to the GLADT e.V and local mutual aid. Good folks, good cause, good music, good vibes. BLVSH x EVOLVE M01 The BLVSH crew is teaming up with Madrid collective Evolve for a night of trance, psy and techno from an all FLINTA* lineup. Personally, I am very excited to catch VINVAR in action again. BLVSH always brings in a sweet crowd so I predict a cosy, cute vibe at M01. 2 YEARS HYPERSOFT OXI The marathon of the weekend: for 22 hours the Hypersoft collective is lighting up OXI for their second anniversary. It's a queer-centred party with a fairly mixed crowd but bombshell music. If you're feeling like it's time for your first proper garden boogie of the year this is the one. Part of the funds go towards supporting queer and FLINTA+ causes, so it might look like you're going on a day-long bender but you're actually, a philanthropist. ADIRA: Eid Edition Panke A nostlagic night for queer Arabs and allies, bringing you the best arabic-pop of the 80’s, 90’s and nullies. Seems like a sweet little community-based party and there's soli-price tickets available for those who need it (send them an email by Friday). Eid Mubarak. Sunday 14. RAVE Kundgebung/RAVE Rally: SAVE TUNTENHAUS Kastanienallee 86 Alright folks, it's time for a little Solidarität. The Tuntenhaus is under threat and you know how you can help (apart from signing a petition and donating)? Go out and boogie at their rave-demo starting from noon Sunday. Queer spaces in this city tend to be ephemeral. But the Tuntenhaus is a piece of queer history we can't afford to lose. On the most gentrified street in the most gentrified district of this city, the housing project is a symbol of resistance, a rough-brickwork symbol of the resilience of queer Berlin. Let's rally folks. Time to fight the good fight.
- Party Dyke Bar Nights Week April 1 - 7
A single ray of sunlight befalls us, hot gay Summer begins, uncuffing season if you will. Where dykes who have been held together by a shoestring and the fear of frostbite burn the bridge and descend upon the queer bars like vultures. It's going to be awesome. @curly_bar_berlin @dick_and_danger_drag @tipsy_bear_berlin @queerbedroompop @crackbellmer @b_lage_nk @black_and_brown_cabaret @butch_barflys_kollektiv_dj_ @stueck_36 @fruit.bln @monsterronsons @felixfauxpas

Where's this weekend's boogie to be found? Here are some good long nights for the hard-working dyke. You deserve it. Party Dyke loves you. Friday 5th Saturday 6th Friday 5. WET Vienna x Dykes Gone Wild Schwuz This edition of Dykes Gone Wild is much more than the usual Pepsi-Boston bar night, this is an all-night party for the dykes. With one floor taken over by residents of the WET FLINTA* party collective: DJ Kuendigung and Nina Berg for some techno-, break- and electrobeats, alongside the Schwuz's classic poppy stuff (just in case you haven't heard Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' in a minute.) I'm hoping for a bit of Robyn and Gaga to flail dramatically to. Of course, there will also be drag and burlesque performances (alongside the entertainment of the inevitable drama that unfolds when you get half the dykes in Berlin in a venue where shots are practically a rite of passage)., DUMP Zur Klappe A cozy night with one of our cutest queer party collectives. A truly fantastic lineup here: we've got DUMP crew ābnamā and Dirty Daddy Don, (for whom I am a notorious fangirl) alongside exciting guests and Diamin and lealucifer. I predict some seriously upbeat, groovy, ravey, acidic techno and breaks, to be enjoyed with queer and sweet little crowd. Klappe can be a tight venue, so be mindful and caring towards others if the space gets tight. It always makes a big difference, and I have faith in the DUMP crowd. Saturday 6. Brenn Fitzroy A night of the finest 90s house music from a phenomenally funky queer/trans-led collective, and the lineup of the night is absolute fire. Babxi, Bézier, FLEMISH FETISH, and Sparkly Pony are angels. The venue is on the smaller side, so expect a more intimate party (and consider getting there early in case it fills up). Really excited for this one, be ready to catch that pretty sunrise over the Spree. CHAOSMOSIS 90mil The first edition of CHAOSMOSIS brings you a creatively chaotic night with some great local artists of experimental pop and hyperpop, with performances by SARILOU, Vega vi, LAFFYYY and Terikon DJing the afterparty. There'll be food (including French crepes omg) and the funds will go towards aid for Palestinian refugees. Good cause, good folks, good times.
