Spring Equinox is upon us. The days might be getting long, but the nights are looking pretty hot too. Friday 22nd Saturday 23rd Friday 22. Hoe_mies Watergate Another night with the Hoe_mies, spotlighting women and queer artists. The vibes are femme, queer and colorful, with high-energy music and a crowd that's dressed to kill. A lot of big names on the lineup so expect to sweat, Watergate is the place to hoe it up this Friday. Pillow Princess: Spring Equinox Secret Location (DM the Prinzessin) Ring in the Spring with Pillow Princess (you may know them from Dyke Fest or TFD) with a night of progressive trance and EBM from a mostly FLINTA* lineup. It's a small venue so expect a cute, intimate little party. Shoot them a message for the location and to get a ticket in advance. Saturday 23. Buttons Watergate This is the heavy hitter of the weekend; the blow-out, feral-queer party for those who definitely don't have Sunday plans. It might be a little more of a cis-gay-dude party but, oh lord, the music... the music will blow your socks off. Jacob Meehan, Dirty Daddy Don, Cora, DJ Northern... it's an all-star cast. I'm predicting a nice groovy mix of techno, house, disco, and general queer joy. Dress colorful and come caffeinated, this will be a great place to catch the sun rising over the Spree on a Sunday morning. BLVSH Collective 4th Anniversary Orangerie The BLVSH crew, our favourite wee FLINTGA DJ collective, is celebrating four years of not only bringing the vibes, but also supporting, platforming and developing women, trans and non-binary talents in a club scene that is still dominated by cis-men. Should be a cosy wee party in the Orangerie Neukölln bar/event space, bringing the best groovy, housey, breaksy sounds and the sweetest of folks. POCLAND Lark Berlin's one and only queer Brazilian funk and pop party is back at Lark this Saturday night. Still pending a Party Dyke review but I foresee a cute little party with some fabulous music. If you're not familiar with baile funk, give it a swing, trust me.

March Femme Bass Mafia SÄULE The grand masters of the FBM (a bass-focused DJ mentoring program for femme, trans and non-binary people) are ringing in the 8th at the Berghain SÄULE with star guests DJ Storm & Mia Koden. You'll hear the best DnB in town at this one. Come caffeinated, I foresee a high-energy dancefloor for this one. Rage'n'Bounce Fitzroy Ready for something new, fresh and queer? Sherryaeri presents a mixer-up of rap, bass, punk, and live music, centering BI*PoC FLINTA* folks for a night of moshing, ass-shaking, and, of course, feminist rage. Check out their safer mosh guide (for this party and all parties) and awareness guidelines, and be conscientious of the space you're occupying (*cough, white queers). WIDE OPEN Zum Böhmischen Dorf A very queer evening of art, drag, music, and peculiar non-binary sexiness. The music will slap (Dirty Daddy Don never fails me), the performances shall be hot (in a somewhat confusing way) and the vibes, exquisite. A place for those DTF (Dykes, Tr@nnies & F@ggots). Let loose your inner gender-clown. FLINTA*stic Indie Pop Party Lido The FLINTA* party scene 100% needs more indie pop nights. I just want to wail Olivia Rodrigo lyrics with the dykes, is that so much to ask. New party on my radar but could be a vibe. Magma KvU A new party in town and this Thursday they're celebrating some of the best FLINTA* artists of Berlin's bass music underground scene. Should be a fairly cozy little party, KvU isn't huge after all, but I would expect Soyklō to knock things up a knotch all the same. Friday 8. Magic Dyke: Venom Festsaal Kreuzberg Another round of the best show in town. Magic Dyke is back baby, and the sapphics are coming out for it. Connor Lingus will do some sexy rolly pollies. Daddy Dyke will daddy And half the dykes in Berlin will shake ass afterward. TLDR: it’s going to be hot. Super Slimey Nature Secret Location Two great queer parties in one night. Slime and Supernature coming together for a night of real queer community. This will be the place to dance your heart out, make some friends, see some drag, and, most importantly, feel safe and seen. It's going to be delightful. Plus proceeds go to the Alliance of Internationalist Feminists. Great music, great folks, great cause. Queer Garten Gretchen Queer Garten, a night for FLINTA* and Friends, is coming to Gretchen. Two floors, one for pop, R&B and indie, one for electro and house. It'll be cute, it'll be cosy, and with Lana Diamond and River Roux of the Berlin Strippers Collective performing, I'm sure you'l be well entertained. Subverted x Brutal Forms OHM Doomy, gloomy, boomy music for sexy goth queers. The Subverted crowd is always the cutest, and if you like that industrial sound there's nowhere better to be. What a Playground Mystery Location This is going to be wholesome af. A night of house music from FLINTA* and BIPoC artists in a cozy little NK cubby hole. Sweet collective that brings in a great crowd, and they're raising money for a good cause too. Come out and support. 1. FC GRRRLS UNITED Berghain The queue… will be rough, I’m not going to lie. But Berghain is queer at heart, and if that’s the dancefloor home that calls to you this 8th, then you go for it, my love. Feedback from last year’s edition was… disappointing. But with a bit of work on last year's mistakes this could be a hell of a night. *If you make it, let me know if the vibe was better this year. Saturday 9. єχυ∂є: International Dolls Night ACUD Club A trans-centered party for all who are respectful and can vibe with trans-joy. A full night of dance and performance, genre-blend of music, with some bass and breaks, and baked goods. Pinky Promise: Underwater Fantasies Club Ost Sexy costume party with great music and a pretty queer crowd. And what a theme! (I’m tired of costume parties that just want me to wear horns and lingerie. No, I shall be a sexy barnacle.) I'd go for the performers alone; Buba Sababa, Lolita Va Voom, Fauxkatya, Gutter Gucci... This is going to be beautiful. Sunday 10. Royal Highness Fitzroy Queerdom is back at Fitzroy this Sunday, bringing you some experimental cocophony from an absolutely stacked lineup. Dirty Daddy Don, Dj Killing and Perra Inmunda on one list? This Sunday truly is the lords day, because that's a miracle in my books.

Presented by local icons Lolita Va Voom and Foxglove, they're joined tonight by Buba Sababa (king/quing of König), Gieza Poke (our favorite Scottish drag auntie) and Misty Lotus (burlesque superstar). Come to boogie, stay for whatever wonders they have in store for us this time. FURIOSA! Rosalía Edition Lido Furiosa, Berlin's premier queer latinx party is taking over Lido with a packed night of latin pop, international pop and reggayton, starring Rosalía (the pop star your favorite spanish-speaking twink is currently obsessed with). Saturday 16. Lunchbox Candy Æden Weird, wacky, sexy, silly, and queer as all hell, Lunchbox Candy is back and boy have we missed that chaos. The lineup; exquisite, phenomenal, glorious. Adam Munnings knows how to distill queer joy into music, I can't say it enough. Lunchbox brings in the most beautiful, mixed, FLINTA*-friendly crowd of feral club raccoons. Dress yourself up like a slutty clown and get out there. DYNAMIC OXI Our favorite queer-feminist hardrave collective is bringing you a breaky and bassy, hardtechno, gabber, and industrial. High-energy party with a lineup to die for. Go hard, stay late, hydrate. This will be a night to remember. Girls Town Gretchen Girls Town's back at Gretchen and there's nowhere better to dress up cute, shake some ass and accidentally kiss your best friend's ex, creating a cascading domino-fall of lesbian drama that will haunt you for three months. Sunday 17. A tiny wee pub party that I have no relation to and have shown no preferential bias in promoting... If you're looking for somewhere to dance a jig, drink a Guinness and give a few bob to relieve the humanitarian crisis in Palestine, this is the place to be this Sunday evening. You want techno? I want a ceasefire. What you're getting is the Irish party scene from Titanic. But now Leo's a Neukölln lesbian in suspenders.

Ladies and gentlethems, queers of a dyke-adjacent persuasion, here’s where to boogie. We may be readying ourselves for the Mach 8 weekend extravaganza, but there are still some exquisite vibes on my radar. Friday 1. Disco Birds Silverwings A new FLINTA* party on the scene, love to see it. Two-floor party, serving everything from pop charts to hip hop to RnB and Afro beats. Get on out there. It's at the Silverwings club at Tempelhof Airport, which historically served as a club for US GIs and airmen… meaning this probably won’t be the gayest thing to have happened there, but we can try. Saturday 2. BLVSH Crack Bellmer Fancy a cozy little abend with the BLVSH collective? Our favorite FLINTGA crew is back at Bellmer for a night of grooves, house, and a lil breakbeat. Coming in with some local favorites like Triqi and SXCL, it's sure to be a vibe. Their DJ Beginner Workshop starting earlier in the night is all booked up but something to keep an eye out for down the line. Bring the posse. Sets start at 8. Come early, stay late. Puticlub Æden Puti is back my loves, and thank goodness for it. A queer latinx night taking over at Æden that will burn the place down. You can expect some reggaeton, latin pop, cumbia, baile funk and plenty more. Some new faces for me on the lineup but my little birds tell me to expect good things from Kali and Linapary, not to mention Isa GT, who never disappoints.

Having a tough week? More oopsies than daisies? Never mind, the weekend is fast coming and, so too, the vibes. Friday 23. Skin Contact OXI Hear ye, hear ye, a new queer party enters the spotlight. This Friday night, a dark, queer, musical extravaganza focusing on the darker side of electronic music with varied DJs playing Techno, EBM, Wave & Italo, over 2 dancefloors at Oxi. Pro tip: Bloody Mary will absolutely kill it. SK is hosting some unique dance and drag performances, not to mention sex-positive darkroom takeovers by its kinky hosts. I sense some rabid-queer energy. Saturday 24. MAGIC DYKE* X SAPPHISTRY X DYKONIC: Fundraiser for Palestine Trauma Bar und Kino What’s that? 3 of the dykiest groups in town are getting together for one night of performances, dancing and general sapphicry? Magic Dyke performers are on the roster so naturally tickets are a scarce resource. Personally, I would offer up my firstborn for a ticket, but they would much prefer funds for Palestine Red Crescent Society & World Food Programme. Stay for a boogey as well, with folks like DJ SOULSEEK, Aalia and Grinderteeth, it'll be worth staying long into the morning hours. A great night for an urgent cause, go out and support. ADIRA Gretchen Over at Gretchen, we have a queer Arabic-pop night, focusing on providing a safe(r) space for queer Arabs and allies. The good folks of ADIRA host a nostalgic throwback to 80’s, 90’s and noughties Arabic-pop music. Haven't given it a PD review yet but there's some wonderful folks involved in making this party a reality and what’s more, a portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting families escaping from Gaza.

Alongside our GG favorites, we’ve got guests like DJ Fart in the Club, for whom I am a notorious and rabid fangirl. Summary: the lineup is fire. The folks will be hot. The vibes, sublime. Come enjoy the UK's only decent cultural export. Girls Town SO36 Girls Town is back and in honor of Berlinale season, they’re teaming up with the good folks of the Teddy Award for a night to celebrate queer film and general dykery. Maybe you meet a film star. Maybe you meet your ex. Either way, there’s no better way to brew some tea than a Girls Town party. Go out, dress hot, and be messy my dears. Queers Against Landlords: In Wonderland Hermannstraße 48 Looking for a cute wee party this Friday? Hate landlords? Excellent. Then come help a housing community raise funds for the legal fight against eviction. Housing projects are important cornerstones of Berlin’s queer, creative communities (And mysteriously, they’re always full of hot people). Be generous if you can. Garage Girls OHM Fancy a night of dark industrial techno? The kind of party that sounds like a hedonistic steel mill? Then Subverted will go so fucking hard for you my dear. Embrace the sexy goth vibes. Leo Monira will burn the place down I swear to god. Go out and get it you cave-dwelling techno goblin. Saturday 17. MARICAS OXI Where do we find the dykes on Saturday night? OXI baby. MARICAS are a FLINT* collective from Barcelona and they’re taking over for a night of “sexy, sweaty, playful & queer mixes.” Very excited to catch Nene H and ābnamā again. High energy, good vibes kind of party. SWEAT - DREAM Secret Location Not only is the Sweat crowd the sweetest and queerest, but their lineup is absolutely stacked. You can expect a great range of music expected from some local favourites; a bit of techno, electro, trance, house, and more. The theme is dream; so deck out in whatever fluffy, trippy, pastel regalia you feel good in.

They're all about giving a stage to our finest queer artists, and for techno lovers there's no better place to be. An intense early start to the weekend. But fuck your day job anyhow. Friday 9. SLIME: TRANSCENDING Secret Location Slime crew is brewing up another night of top-tier queer community fun and games. Techno, trance, electro vibes brought to you by these dears: Funkykid, Ahni.io, Mäßir Slime always brings out the most delightful folks, go out and be sweet. Saturday 10. casadephunk Zur Klappe Let me tell you, lovelies, this is not a night to miss. A new party on my radar, where “groove meets soul, and house is home.” Casadephunk is all about creating an inclusive space where seasoned DJs and emerging artists alike can showcase the finest of house music. They’ll have to evict me at the end of the night. Just look at that lineup. elliephunk and Camilla Rae b2b 131bpm (of Body Language renown). Fire. Sheer fucking fire.
