  • Weekend Party Picks: April 4 - 6

Spring has sprung, the birds are a'singing, the dykes are a'dancing, hot gay Summer is on the horizon... and the pace of parties is a mile a minute — or rather 4 a night. Choose wisely. Friday 4th Saturday 5th Friday 4. Whoriental Festival presents Haram Night OXI The good folks who brought you the Whoriental Festival—a celebration of QT*BIPOC, refugees, s*x workers & SWANA talents—bring you a night of queer joy and joyful sin. On the dancefloor you can look forward to a genre melt; with techno, breakbeat, baile funk, and hyperpop blurring with shaabi, Turkish pop, Arabic hip-hop, and a range of regional sounds. You have a range of talented hosts to entertain and titilate, and a FLINTA* darkroom for those who wish to indulge. at your Service Void Hall Have you been missing Coven? The wee collective behind the blowout May 1st Open Air and a bunch of cute queer parties centering house music by artists of the global south? They're back and they're at your Service, now at a new base: Void Hall. New venue on my radar but knowing the Coven crew they're sure to light the place up. Joining residents GIO and Feasting on decks, we have Tania Just and King Sleepy; familiar faces from Fandango and Fogo No Cu respectively. That dancefloor will be a bloody delight my friends. casadephunk Zur Klappe A party where groove meets soul, and house is home. Casadephunk is all about creating an inclusive space where seasoned DJs and emerging artists alike can showcase the finest of house music. They’ll have to evict me at the end of the night. Just look at that lineup. elliephunk, joined by Garage Girls residents DJ NORTHERN and KENZA, B.A.O... should be a bouncing wee dancefloor, in the cosiest of teeny wee cubbyhole clubs. Gegen: Aliens RSO Looking for a massive, sexy, blowout, queer party? This is the one. God the DJ lineup is gorgeous: Nur Jabe, Aaron Blau, Barbad, Pooja B, VINVAR... absolute fire. This is the place to dance like the world's ending. And an alien theme... sick. *Obligatory warning that the crowd tends to be mostly cis-gay guys, but if you're looking for a huge klubnacht then this is it. Saturday 5. ROCKSTAR GIRLFRIENDS Badehaus All rock, all night; a queer FLINTA* party for those who eschew techno for all the Nirvana, Green Day, Linkin Park and Paramore your angsty teenage heart desires. The headbanging will have consequences now that you're not sixteen, but it's 100% worth it. TRAILERS 4 TRANNIES Secret Location Neukölln The queer collective living space Marzipahn needs our help folks: they're raising funds to help cover the costs of legalization and resist the eviction of one of the few precious spaces the queerdos have. What better way to help 'em out than a raging queer, sex-positive party in a wee cosy DIY hideaway in NK. Good cause. Good folks. Good times. Slin ky #2 Mystery Location NK Looking for a little groovier, that kind of silky low-BPM vibe, a bit slinky one might say? This is one to check out my loves. The lineup is kept a secret until the day. Intriguing. We love a mystery. Party Dyke investigates. Succulent City 2 Crack Bellmer The sun is out and the day-parties come with it. Succulent City (gorgeous name for a party; pure lesbian bait) is kicking it off at 2pm this Saturday over at Crack Bellmer. Chill on the patio, knock back a spritz or five, boogie to the housie disco sounds—it's still pending a PD investigation, but the party sounds like pure sunshine.

  • Weekend Party Picks: March 28 - 30

Weekly reminder to support local shenanigans and hard-working silly-billies. Friday night is quiet enough. Saturday night there's far too much to choose from. Friday 28th Saturday 29th Friday 28. LE TEMPLE GENRE-BENDER Crack Bellmer Geneva-born queer collective Le Temple is coming to Bellmer Friday night for a genre-bending night of everything from baile funk to hiphop to techno. Real excited for the Camilla Rae set, and to see Le Temple come to a new venue. Sweet folks, cosy space - sounds like a lovely wee time. Power Dance Club Kreuzwerk Would I attend this just for Dornika? Yes. But the music should slap throughout the night by my forecast. Crowd does tend to be like 90% cis-gay dudes but, from what my sources tell me, very sweet respectful ones. Saturday 29. Taranau Zur Klappe Another night of juicy techno by femmes and thems in the cosy cubbyhole of Zur Klappe. Really sweet little FLINTA* party where you can finish the night having met half the club and hopefully a lively little dancefloor: looking forward to catching Kim She on decks. Trans Day of Visibility Secret Location At a top secret location in F'hain, the good folks of Voices4 Berlin are celebrating trans day of visibility. A day of workshops and food, with a trans open stage to top it off, followed by an afterparty. Get ready for a genre blend with everything from bass to hyperpop throughout the night, though personally I wouldn't miss James Lotion b2b Sparkly Pony. SLIT Lab.oratory Ready for the third edition of SLIT? The grand FLINTA* takeover of Berlin's most famed dungeon of homosexual debauchery. Sure some of the corners smell a little... funky, but as I recall that didn't stop you all from engaging enthusiastically with the concept. (For those unfamiliar with the lab reputation: this is a s*x party.) Others to the Front Crack Bellmer Your local queer DIY dancefloor lights up Crack Bellmer this Saturday night to celebrate 4 years of cute community-centred parties. Sweet folks, chill venue, QPOC focused, and I expect some real nice funky house music to keep you bopping. Plus there will be food. And a piñata. What more do you need?

  • Weekend Party Picks: March 21 - 23

Such a range of vibes this weekend; choose your adventure. Jig it up with the Irish queers? Go full feral rave queer? DnB? Pop diva? All of them? Why not? Sleep is for the straights. Friday 21th Saturday 22nd Sunday 23rd Friday 21. Paddy's Day Crack Bellmer On Ireland’s traditional national day, we present an atraditional Queer Secular Celebration of Irish Shenanigans and International Solidarity. An evening of: Irish and Palestinian dance, Küfa, a grand raffle featuring prizes from a range of your favourite local queer businesses, drag Performances, DJs playing the finest slutty queer techno until dawn, FLINTA* arm wrestling (because we don’t endorse bar-fighting anymore), craic, and potato painting. Proceeds will go towards the Palestine Childrens Relief Fund. Brits are encouraged to donate extra. You know why. Dykes* Gone Wild Schwuz The old classic dyke night at Schwuz, this time featuring a disco/house floor takeover from our friends at the Trans Fag Dyke Collective. And for some entertainment on the side, there's the FLINTA* p**n cinema (as a refined cinephile, I can recommend). Saturday 22. Lunchbox Candy Kreuzwerk A big rabid night of highly-distilled queer joy. Disco house music that is just so good it's perverse. Techno that's transcendent. A touch of trance, garage, acid, all that good mushy stuff in between. Dress code: genderfuckery, drag, ketam*ne bombshell. Do not make Sunday plans, it's an intense one. Curious to see how Lunchbox takes to the new location of Kreuzwerk but regardless expect a tough door sitch. FACILITATE Zur Klappe If you're looking for a space for FLINTA* folks in the DnB scene, FACILITATE has you covered. Joining FACILITATE residents on deck we have Femme Bass Mafia mentee Ubax and local favorite Hannaby. Find them in the cozy corridor of Zur Klappe this Saturday night. Slaystans: NOWRUZ Mystery Location Slaystans: our local collective for the central asian queer community is putting on a Nowruz celebration in our cosy DIY party corner in NK. It's a new party on my radar but I forecast a blend of techno, electro, trance, EBM and experimental sounds, could be a vibe-and-a-half. Renate invites BLVSH / XOXA / BRENN Renate BLVSH x XOXA x BRENN present a grand takeover at Renate; a night for FLINTA* and friends with some of our favorite folks on decks across three floors of one of Berlin's best known clubs. Vibe could depend a lot on how door policy runs on the night but for music, no doubt it'll be absolute fire.

  • Weekend Party Picks: March 14 - 16

Winter is over my dears. Berlin Summer is on the horizon. Better get in training. It's uphill from here. Get your steps in. Saturday's the night the night to marathon. Friday 14th Saturday 15th Friday 14. Gegen Control KitKat Club It's sexy. It's silly. It's chaotic as fuck but the DJs will blow your mind (Samantha Togni omg), and the performers from SLVT RIOT might make you forget your own name, where you are, and how coherent sentences are formed. *Obligatory warning that the crowd tends to be mostly cis-gay guys but folks, Gegen might be the best night you'll have at kitty. FURIOSA! Waiting for Shakira Lido Furiosa, the queer latinx party, is back again with our monthly blast of reggaeton, pop, and latin bops—this edition; all about manifesting Shakira's return to Berlin. Saturday 15. Bottomless Brunch XL MENA Are you ever at a party and think to yourself; this is great and all but what if everyone here was butt-naked? Bottomless Brunch has you covered (or rather, uncovered). This weekend is the XL edition so everyone's invited (not just FLINTA* folks this once) but the DJ lineup playing across two floors is absolutely stacked. It's a definite FLINTA* to the front vibe with plenty of our local favorites on the decks. Puticlub: Perreo a Poca Luz — El Ultimo Puticlub del Año OXI For a long night of reggaeton, baile funk , guaracha, and queer Latinx joy, the Puticlub  crew is back for their first party of 2025. This time they're taking it to OXI and I expect they'll set the place on fire: coming in hot with the Puti residents and their special guests — not to mention the Puti gogos, and some surprises, I hear. Color me intrigued. Quatsch Zur Klappe It's cute, queer, and friendly as hell—perfect for the cosy little club of Klappe. Music is a nice all-round blend of groovy, proggy house; bitta' bass; some Jersey club; and the odd bop of pop—an absolute vibe-and-a-half. Interzone Mystery Location Techno lover with a feel for that good old-school DIY vibe? Interzone has got you covered. Some of the best folks on the scene, throwing a party that doesn't disappoint. Probably playing the harder stuff, so bring energy — Madalba never disappoints.

  • Weekend Party Picks: March 7 - 9 The March 8. Weekend Spectacular

March 8 weekend babes. It's goddamn beautiful. Splendid. Scrumptious. And, like, important from a feminist perspective too I guess. Women's rights are great and all, my agenda is supporting their wrongs. Fair warning that on March 8 a lot of places boast about their FLINTA* lineups and there's plenty of queer parties, but expect crowds to be pretty mixed across the board. Smaller, less trafficked clubs are less likely to draw out the dude-bros. Friday 7th Saturday 8th Friday 7. Soft Landing 90 Mil Over at 90 mil they're serving up a soli party to help community member Johnny Questions get back on his feet after a hit-and-run. And with typical flare they've got the finest, spiciest cabaret you ever did see and DJs to keep you on your feet until 2am - pro tip: don't miss Adam Munnings at midnight. Slime Mystery Location NK Time for Slime: the cutest wee queer party that's all about community. With a DIY setup, the Slime residents on deck, and the ever-talented Thea Etcetera playing host, you can't beat a SLIME party for a night where you leave with an Instagram contact for half folks at the party (will you ever contact them? Irrelevant). Unite in Pride: Feministischer Kampftag Special! x allesbien Schwuz Over at Schwuz Allesbien (the good folks who brought you dyke fest) are curating the house and disco floor to wring in March 8, and in the Pepsi Boston Bar you can chitchat and connect with an array of local FLINTA* artists. Saturday 8. ADIRA Gretchen Queer Arab pop party ADIRA celebrates its two-year anniversary with an all-Arab, all-FLINTA* lineup playing on two floors (DumTak, Hassandra, La Louuve, MEDUSSAR, Nourr and 3aissa): bringing you a range of genres blended with regional influences from across the Arab world, and alongside Baladi performance and workshop by Alexandre Paulikevitch. INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY by Queer Garten & L-tunes Weekend Club Queer Garten and L-tunes brings a rooftop party with 2 floors and a host of familiar faces from across the FLINTA* party scene. Should be a good range of pop, house, disco and hip-hop for however you care to celebrate your feministischer Kampftag (you can also get a reduced price ticket with the Rabattcode partydyke, just saying.) Body Language x OXI OXI Over at OXI the good folks of Body Language have an absolutely gorgeous lineup for you: ābnamā, Camilla Rae, Diamin, Maryisonacid, Souci... It's going to be absolute fire. House, techno, breaks, acid, electro - ringing of queer joy from start to finish. Body Language is usually very queer/femmes to the front, crowd could be a little mixed on this night though. DISSIDENT OHM Over at OHM, Dissident is bringing a night of techno, hardgroove, electro, trance and punchy house from a lineup to kill: angelboy, Carly Zeng, JASSS, Majdolen & Rachel Noon, some of my local favorites. I expect the crowd won't be particularly queer on the night but the music, god damn, and Dissident never fails to bring out a sweet community of followers. Girls Town SO36 Girls Town: an institution of FLINTA* nightlife in Berlin is back at SO36 giving you pop, hip hop, dance classics and house music. SO36 has those cute school hall vibes, the crowd's going to be dykey as all hell, and if you don't run into your ex, their ex and your mutual ex, it'll be fab.

  • Weekend Party Picks: February 28 - March 2

Well the good news is that there's plenty of vibes to be had this weekend. The bad news is that they're all on Saturday night. Choose wisely. For Friday night, L-Rush at Rauschgold might be the vibe for a bar night out. Saturday 1. SWEAT Zur Klappe SWEAT is back to bring an end to the winter chill in the cozy crevice of Zur Klappe. The cutest wee queer/trans collective is once again bringing a lineup to kill. Joining residents James Lotion and Sparkly Pony, we have Carly Zeng and Camilla Rae, of Dissident and Body Language acclaim respectively. Come early for the rave intention circle, stay for the morning pole performance by Polefluid, and dance past dawn. House of Bade x What a Playground Badehaus For this month's House of Bade (a club night centering queer and FLINTA* artists) What a Playground takes the decks. And for one night only they're teaming up with Ink Against Borders to host a solidarity event supporting SeaWatch. So not only do you get a full night of groovy house from karete bu, lisa tba, Ligal Tamir, and stinia3000 b2b Lena Brecht, you also have the opportunity to get inked for a good cause with Leninski and Miss Lenka. IN A (HYPE) MOOD Fitzroy Meanwhile, at Fitzroy we're getting hyped. IN A MOOD brings a night of bratty breaks and beats, maybe a little UKG and deep house, and all the good girlypop vibes. Sweet lineup with HEDDA, faceblindbabe, and 0megavybe on decks. FLINTA* collective with a mixed queer crowd and a high-energy dancefloor; so come caffeinated.
